Babylon VBS Missions Project
How it Works

Before Babylon VBS:

• Order a Bugs Pray-er Clip for each of your vacation Bible school participants. These unique clips serve as a powerful reminder during and after Babylon VBS.
• Make sure you have an Operation Kid-to-Kid Mosquito Net to display in your church (the net and clips are used together during Babylon VBS).

During Babylon VBS:

• Participants at Babylon VBS will learn about this special mission project in the Operation Kid-to-Kid Tent in the Marketplace. Each Tribe member can bring in a monetary donation and take it to the tent during Marketplace time.
• As kids and adults bring monetary donations of any size, the shopkeeper will give them a Bugs Pray-er Clip to attach to the displayed net - a great reminder of the sleeping children that will be protected from mosquitoes in Mali.
• Checks from VBS participants should be made payable to your church. (After VBS you will send one check for the total amount donated to Group Cares.)
• Kids will also make Friendship Cards for the Malian kids - a personal way to share God's love and hope!
• During the closing Celebration on Day 5, each person will retrieve a Bugs Pray-er Clip from the Operation Kid-to-Kid Tent and wear it during the remainder of the Celebration time. At home, these clips serve as handy reminders to keep praying for the people of Mali.

After Babylon VBS:

• Gather your Friendship Cards and tally your donations-then send it all to Group Cares. (Please send one check for the total amount donated, and make payable to Group Cares.)
• Mail donations to:

• Your Babylon VBS cards and donation will be forwarded to World Vision. For every $6 donated, World Vision will provide one bed net that will protect two children for up to 4 years. World Vision believes we can actually eradicate malaria in the country of Mali with this 2012 campaign!
