Give a Bear Hug That Reaches Around the World

This hands-on mission project has kids at your VBS making a pair of Operation Kid-to-Kid^TM Prayer Bears. These cuddly, snuggly, adorable little bears say "Jesus loves me" in English, Spanish and French. Kids send one bear to an orphaned child in Africa, then keep one as a reminder to pray for that child.


	the Cowpoke Crafts Leader will distribute two Prayer Bears to each child.


	with polyfil and add a white felt heart. As they do this, kids will compare stuffing the bear to filling children's lives with God's love.


	on the bear, then draw or write a special message to the recipient in the back of The Survivor's Bible that will be sent with the bears. They'll also personalize a message and add a sticker on a notecard to tuck in the bear's pocket.


	and prays for the orphans who will receive these gifts of love. Plus, your Avalanche Ranch kids get to keep one bear as a reminder to pray for the recipient in Africa.
